Obituary of Michael Eldage Lazich

Michael Lazich, beloved husband of Karen Lazich (nee Melnyk) of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Michael was born on August 31, 1951 in Assiniboia, SK. He lived on a farm in Scout Lake, SK, and in 1962 he moved to Regina, SK. He met Karen in 1969, and they were married in 1971. They were married for thirty-three years and had two children a son and a daughter. Michael and his family moved to Calgary in 1980. His greatest passion was operating a crane, and he also loved to go camping, he especially loved to sit around the camp fire with friends. Besides his loving wife Karen, he is also survived by his children, a son Edward, of Calgary, and a daughter Dawn Marie, of Regina; and five grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his mother Lillian; a sister Lyn; and a brother Rodney. Michael was predeceased by his father Samuel.
