Obituary of Robert Martin Houbrechts

Robert Martin Houbrechts of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, July 26, 2004, while awaiting a liver and kidney transplant, at the age of 55 years. Robert was born in Brussels, Belgium on December 3, 1948 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1956. Robert is survived by Connie Biden and their children Benjamin and Amanda. He is also survived by his brothers, Frank (Heather) and Ed (Maureen); sisters, Jenny (Albert) Hulzebos and Marie Kelly; and by numerous nieces, nephews and many relatives in Belgium. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 3:00 P.M.
