Obituary of Alexander Harold Hanley

Alexander (Alex) Hanley, beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Hanley of Calgary, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 24, 2004 after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72 years. He will be sadly missed – until we meet again – by his wife of fifty-three years, Margaret, son Raymond (Eleanor), daughter Ruth (Tom), granddaughter Debbie (Sean), granddaughter Skye, grandson Michael and great-grandsons Christopher and Tyler who were his pride and joy. IMAGINE… Stepping onto a shore and finding it Heaven, Taking hold of a hand and finding it God’s hand, Breathing new air and finding it celestial air, Feeling invigorated and finding it immortality, Passing from storm and tempest to an unknown calm, Waking… and finding it home.
