Obituary of Helen Sapieha
Helen Sapieha, beloved wife of Chester of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice on Friday, July 23, 2004 after a brave fight with cancer at the age of 72 years.
Her whole life was her family, anything else came second. Their wishes were her commands. She will be dearly missed by her husband Chester and sons, Murray (Maria), Gerald (Carole), Dale (Shelley) and Larry and also her grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsey, Nicole, and Matthew, these children were her pride and joy. She is survived by her brothers, Emil (Liz) Halushka, Raymond (Marion) Halushka, and Walter (Jacque) Hall; sisters, Ann Riabko, Josie (Norman) Shulhan, Jean Driedger, and Alice (Charlie) Morgan; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Katherine and brother Sam Halushka.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 10:30 A.M.
