Obituary of Madeleine Hall

Madeleine Hall of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the age of 85 years. Madeleine was born October 27, 1918 on her father’s homestead, north of Pincher Creek, AB. She married Luther (Dick) Hall in 1942 and together they farmed and ranched north of Pincher Creek. In later years, they enjoyed farming in the Cowley District, prior to moving to Calgary in 1972. In the last six years, Madeleine enjoyed visiting the farm in Whitefish, Montana. Madeleine is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe and Joan Hall and Doug Hall; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Don Mundie; nine grandchildren, Barbara (Art), Brenda (Duane), Lisa (Wayne), Wendy (Wayne), Sandy, Joey, Shaun (Kerry), Stephanie, and Colin; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Luther (Dick); parents, Laura and Arthur Hutchins; and brother Raymond Hutchins. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
