Obituary of Marie Rose McFadyen
Marie Rose McFadyen of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the age of 81 years.
Marie worked and raised her family in Saskatoon and Edmonton, then retired to Calgary. She devoted her life to her family and her communities through her participation in the Royal Purple, the IODE, Cosmopals, and as a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross Association. She was President of the East Edmonton Seniors Association for a number of years, and volunteered at the Society for the Retired and Semi-Retired.
Marie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elizabeth McFadyen, Linda Croll, Roy McFadyen, Ron McFadyen (Wanda); seven grandchildren, David Miller, Kori Nightingale (Stephen), Tricia Wambold (Wes), Susan Laskosky (Jim), Brandon McFadyen (Darla), Joshua Croll (Christina Elders), and Katrina McFadyen; and five great-grandchildren, Shea, Damon, Allan, Logan, and Brianna. She will also be missed by Nancy McFadyen, Alvin Croll, and numerous friends and neighbours. She is also survived by her sisters, Doris Collins and Vicky Kunka; and her brothers, Peter and Eugene Bilous. Marie was predeceased by her youngest son Raymond; her parents Nick and Annie Bilous; a sister; and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 2:30 P.M.
