Obituary of Cheryl Margaret McClelland
Cheryl Margaret McClelland (nee Krowitz), beloved wife of Ross, of Calgary passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the age of 47 years.
Cheryl was born and raised in Calgary and attended Viscount Bennett High School. She worked for several years for her father at Scarboro Service then later started her own day home for several children in the Glendale neighborhood and most recently worked at the Glencoe Club Nursery. Cheryl was an outstanding volunteer in Glendale Community, writing the monthly newsletter for several years, being a Spark Leader and organizing the community bingo’s. She was a loving mother and friend to everyone that knew her. Her great sense of humor, organizational skills and her giving way will be missed by all.
Besides her loving husband Ross, Cheryl is survived by her children, Jeff, Tara (Mark), Carlee, and Shauna; her parents, Margaret and Myron Krowitz; her brother Kerry; her grandmother Doris Wilson; her aunt Barbara Wilson; her mother-in-law Loreta Crowe; and sisters-in-law, Collean McCracken, Judi Grainger and Linda McClelland. Cheryl was predeceased by her grandfather Joe Wilson; her son Wesley; father-in-law Neil Crowe; and brother-in-law Guy McClelland.
A Celebration of Cheryl’s Life will be held at Glendale Community Hall (2405 Glenmount Dr. S.W.) on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 between 1:00 P.M and 4:00 P.M.
