Obituary of Carol Ann Morrison

Carol Ann Morrison (nee Ellingson), beloved wife of Ron Morrison of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the age of 60 years after a four year battle with cancer. Carol was born on September 14, 1943 in Weyburn, SK. On February 11, 1961, she married Ron. Carol loved her family and felt her greatest accomplishment were her children. Her heart was filled with love for her grandchildren and looked forward with great anticipation to the birth of her newest grandchild. Carol faced her illness with faith, dignity, determination, humor, inner strength and was an inspiration to those who knew her. Besides her loving husband, Carol is remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Tony Urquhart and their children Taryn and Breanne, all of Cloverdale, BC and her son and daughter-in-law, Kerwin and Tracy Morrison of Toronto, ON. Carol is also survived by her sisters, Eldora (Doddie) and Bruce Campbell of Sydney, BC, and Jean and Bill Toumainen of Medicine Hat, AB; her brother Jerry and Elsie Ellingson of Weyburn, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her sister Tootie Michaels of Victoria, BC. Carol wanted to extend a thank you to her friends and family for their prayers and support during her time of need.
