Obituary of Wilhelm Puchinger

Wilhelm (Willie) Puchinger, beloved husband of Mrs. Johanna Puchinger of Calgary, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the age of 73 years. Willie emigrated from Austria with his wife and the first two of four children in 1956. He was employed with Esso Resources for a number of years. Willie loved spending time with his family, playing music, and had a passion for the outdoors. He has passed his love of camping and fishing down to the next generations. His retirement years were spent at the family cabin in B.C. which he built by hand. Besides his beloved wife Johanna, Willie will be remembered as the very loving father of Johanna (Stuart) of Sherwood Park, Willie (Kathy) of Lethbridge, Cathy (Bill) of Calgary, and James (Melissa) of Mable Lake, BC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Lisa (Ludwin), Brian (Silvia), Kyle, Jordan, Wayne, Stephen, Mika, Jax, and Arulia; four sisters, Gretel, Pepe, Erica and Monica, all of Austria; and by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter and Maria Fritz of Calgary. He was predeceased by his mother Berta and father Joseph. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 10:00 A.M.
