Obituary of Kendry Edward MacKell
Kendry Edward MacKell, beloved husband of Hughette MacKell of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, July 5, 2004 after a short but intense battle with cancer at the age of 76 years.
Ken’s life was dedicated to the Hotel Industry, primarily CP Hotels. In 1987 he retired from the Palliser Hotel as Vice President of CP Hotels, Western Division, after forty-two years of service. During his retirement he continued to offer his services to C.E.S.O. International. Kendry, enjoyed golfing, bowling, theater group outings, and caring for his dogs. He will be sadly missed by all of his colleagues, friends, and family.
Besides his loving wife Hughette, Kendry will be remembered by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin, and Stephen and Susan, all of Calgary. He is also survived by a brother Ray of Windsor, ON; and uncle Jack Welsh of Victoria, BC; and also his nieces, nephews an cousins. Kendry was predeceased by his sister Barbara Willoughby.
