Obituary of Charlotte Annie Wiley
Lottie Wiley of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the age of 92 years, following a short illness.
Lottie was born on November 9, 1911 and raised in southern Alberta. She married Gordon Wiley on October 8, 1936, and the two raised their family in many towns throughout Alberta, and in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Lottie’s family was truly of utmost importance to her. Always a pillar of strength, as well as a shining example of faithfulness and a steadfast heart, she gave unconditional love to all. Lottie will be deeply missed by her family, including sons Ralph (Pat) and George (Bev); and daughter Jeanette (Harold); as well as ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, two sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1985 and a son, William (Bill), in 1996.
