Roxanne Sieben

Obituary of Roxanne Sieben

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Roxanne passed away peacefully at home in the comfort and love of her family, Carol Ann Hubar, Stuart Bourassa and loving friend Leanne Gladstone. Roxanne was born in Calgary and came to live in Airdrie where for the past fifteen years she enjoyed a life with Carol Ann, Stuart and the embracing community of friends in Airdrie. She had a special friendship with Leanne Gladstone who provided loving and tender support to the end. Roxanne was a talented crafter and enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles and working with animals. She was a doll collector and volunteered her time and spirit enthuastically. Roxanne gave of herself selflessly, loved unconditionally and was a lady in the truest sense of the word. Her incredible spirit always shone through as she welcomed everyone with open arms and a hug. Roxanne was a member of the Special Olympics Bowling, Swimming and Equestrian program and attended the Airdrie Adult Day Program. Roxanne was full of grace and forgiveness and her sense of humor was a delight to all.
