Obituary of Margaret McDermid

Margaret Helene McDermid of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Bow View Manor on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the age of 88 years. Margaret was born on July 15, 1915 in Sunnidale, ON and moved to Calgary in 1939 when she married Ken. Margaret was an Honourary Life Member of the Samaritan Club of Calgary. She loved her summers at the family cabin at Gull Lake with family and friends. Dogs were also a special part of her life. Margaret is survived by a son Bonn (Joan) McDermid; a daughter Karen McDermid; two grandchildren, Deb (Les) Radford and Rob McDermid; as well as nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Ken in 1980. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Rita M.
