Obituary of Verda Lois McKay

Verda Lois McKay (nee Walden) beloved wife of Bob McKay, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Sarcee Carewest Hospice on Tuesday June 15, 2004, at the age of 66 years. Verda was born on March 21, 1938 in Lethbridge, AB. Besides her loving husband Bob of forty two years, Verda is survived by her children Michelle DeRoche and D’Arcy of Calgary, Colleen Metzger and Ron of Crossfield; grandchildren Brandi and Alexander Metzger, Morgan and Sydney DeRoche. She is also survived by her brother Robert Walden (Rona); her sister Betty McClean (Bob); also numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews. Verda is predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
