Obituary of Josi Hubick

Josephine (Josi) Hubick of Airdrie passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, June 14, 2004, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 68 years. Josephine was born on April 29, 1936 in Calder, SK. She was employed as a Prep Cook in the oil field, at the G8 Summit and various places on the train. Josephine is survived by her children, Robin and Donna Hubick of Surrey, BC, Denise Hubick of New Westminster, BC, and Bunny Hubick and her husband Brian McCulloch of Airdrie; grandchildren, Nolan and Krystle Frisky of Airdrie and Jessica King of Calgary. She is also survived by Emily Becker of Yorkton, SK, Marie Zaharia, Catherine (Kitty) Chesney and Gloria Powell, all of Regina, SK. Josephine was predeceased by her daughter Pamela Hubick; parents, Metro and Annie Danylko; and two sisters, Nancy Cottrell and Phyllis Dawson. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Airdrie Funeral Home (300 Towerlane Drive) on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Faith Brace officiating.
