Obituary of Helen Gugins

Helen Gugins (nee Jones) of Calgary beloved wife of the late Cliff Gugins, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the age of 88 years. Helen was born July 7, 1915 in North York (Toronto) ON. She married Cliff Gugins on August 18, 1943 in Toronto, and they moved to Calgary in 1945. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Cliff Gugins, on December 5, 2003. She was a great mother and friend. She was involved with charity work in the community, as well as being a bookkeeper for her husband’s general contracting business. Helen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Richard Gugins and Maureen Eldridge of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Michael Hare of Mississauga, ON., Shirley and Ron Reid of Sherwood Park, AB.; four grandchildren Kevin Hare, Warren Hare, Robert Reid, Kathy (Bob) Hendron. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
