Obituary of Van Loo

Rowland (Rollie) E. Van Loo beloved husband of Vera Van Loo of Calgary, passed away at the Colonel Belcher Hospital on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Rowland was a veteran of World War II serving overseas with the Calgary Highlanders for six years. In Calgary he worked for the Calgary Brewery for forty-seven years. Rowland was active with the Manchester Community Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #285. Besides his loving wife, Rowland is also survived by his children and their spouses, Rowland (Rollie) Jr. and Karen Van Loo and Elizabeth (Beth) and Dave Thibodeau; four grandchildren, Jaime, Krista, Michael, and Andrea; and one great grandson, Derryl.
