Obituary of Sharon Dale Trites

Sharon Dale Trites, beloved wife of Gordon Trites of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, June 4, 2004 at the age of 47 years. Sharon was born on December 28, 1956 in Winnipeg, MB. She married Gordon on September 6, 1980. Sharon lived and worked in various places throughout Canada until coming to Calgary in 1995, where she began working at Burnett, Duckworth and Palmer Law Office as a Legal Secretary. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, camping and spending time outdoors with her family as well as traveling to other countries. One of her favorite pastimes was to go to garage sales. Besides her loving husband Gordon, she is remembered by her daughters, Tasmin and Deana, both from Calgary; her father Walter Nickel of Winnipeg, MB; and her father-in-law Howard Trites of Nanaimo, BC; her sister Gerry (Mike) Beaulieu; and a brother Ron (Lucy) Nickel all of Winnipeg, MB. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and friends. Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Mary Nickel, and her mother-in-law, Noney Trites.
