Obituary of M. A. Leitch

M. A. “Mickey” Leitch, beloved wife of Alex of fifty-eight years of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Mickey was a very giving person who enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, and fly-fishing. Mickey was also a member of the A.C.T. She was known as “Auntie Mickey” to all who knew her. Besides her loving husband Alex, Mickey is survived by her sister, Jessie Cox of Stettler, AB; a brother-in-law Angus (Theresa) Leitch of Calgary; and two sisters-in-law, Bunty (Bill) Evans of Caroline, AB and Fay Leitch of Calgary; eleven nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 31, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, May 31, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Robert W. Mutlow officiating.
