Warren Orr Dawe

Obituary of Warren George Orr Dawe

After a great run here on Earth Warren George Orr Dawe, beloved husband of Betty of Calgary and surrounded by his family, departed for the next stage of his journey. Warren loved life to the fullest and was proud of his Newfoundland heritage. He enjoyed the first forty-nine years of his life in Montreal, his years in Calgary, seven years in White Rock, BC, and back in Calgary for the past ten years. He loved his nine winters spent in Phoenix, AZ. His passions were golfing, skiing, jazz, big bands, and life in general. Warren’s pride and joy was his family. Besides Betty, his loving wife of forty-four years, he will be remembered by his four wonderful children, Lauren (Phil), Bob (Michelle), Linda (Fred), and Neil (Isabel); and his eight equally wonderful grandchildren, Mary, Kristen, Sammi, Daniel, Warren, Liam, Brendan, and Isabella. He is also survived by his brother Howard (Gerry) of Calgary; sister Anne (Mike) of Montreal; and many nieces and nephews. “We love you, Warren – Bon Voyage” Funeral Services will be held at Midlands United Church (250 – 146th Avenue S.E.) on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev.
