Obituary of Margaret Esler

Margaret Anne Esler, beloved wife of Len Esler of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Margaret was a long time employee of Canada Safeway for thirty-four years, where she made many life long friends. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker, skier and golfer. Margaret enjoyed spending time at their Condo in Canmore. After retiring she enjoyed traveling. Besides her loving husband Len, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Catherine Anne Duthie (Ouellette) and Denis of Innisfail; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Susan Esler; daughters and son-in-laws Dawn and Craig Robertson, Stacey and Michael Schiebelbein all of Calgary; granddaughter Gina Anne Duthie; fifteen step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; two brothers and sister-in-law Tom and Lorelei Meraw of Pigeon Lake and Frank Meraw of Camrose, AB. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Duthie in 1990 and sister-in-law June Meraw in 2004. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Wednesday May 26, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Inocencio C.
