Obituary of Peter Hooper Birkett

Peter Hooper Birkett was born on March 14, 1954 in Montreal, QC and passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 in Calgary at the age of 50 years. Peter, a very kind hearted and non-judgmental man, was loved by all of us. He never got caught up by pretence or prejudice and accepted everyone for who they were. In return he had many genuine friends and never hesitated to go out of his way to help people. He had a fun loving nature that drew people near him. He was a man of many talents, with a love of life that he shared with everyone. He will be sadly missed by his family, his mother Joan, brother Tim (Lyn), sister Jennifer (Clay), sister Ea (Ted) and nephew Jon (Shadow). Peter is also sadly missed by the women of his life – first wife Heather who remembers Peter on the beach in Bermuda enjoying the sun; and Diane, the newest member of the family who brought new life and joy into Peter’s heart. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 2:30 P.M.
