Obituary of Peter Wesley

Peter “Pernell” Wesley (“Great Warrior of the Creator”) was taken so suddenly to the refuge of the Spirit World on Friday, April 30, 2004 at the age of 26 years. He leaves to mourn his loving mother, whom he was her birthday present, Ramona Wesley; his dear loving father, Buddy Wesley (Sarah); his sisters whom he loved so dearly, Angelina Wesley and Olivia (Joel); step-sister Hannah Butson; adopted brothers, Christian and Kevin Hunter Jr.; adopted sisters, Aarona (Kerry) and Carlena; his girlfriend Kimberly Ann Simeon; nephews, Tye, Bailey, Drake, Chad, and Devin; two nieces whom he cherished and loved to be with, Chrissie and Nakayo; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Wildman (whom he was also a birthday present); adopted brothers, Monty (Sheryle) Labelle, and Darren Auger of White Fish; cousins, Boyd Wesley, Dennis Fox, Neil Beaver, Conrad Wesley, Wade Wesley, and Burton Wesley; and special “big brother” cousins, Dwayne, Trevor, Clarence Jr. and Evan. Pernell was an adopted son of Debbie Chiniquay; adopted sisters Raquel (Ace), Lacey (Dwayne) and Joni, whom he loved; the family of his girlfriend, Keith and Deborah Simeon, David Simeon, Kelinda (Levi) and Keisha. Pernell was predeceased by his only brother, Donovan, on October 20, 1996; grandparents Henry Holloway Sr., Pete and Winnifred Wesley; great-grandparents Becky and Harrison Powderface; and an uncle, Gilbert Wildman in 1990. Pernell was an outdoor enthusiast who had been considering a career in wilderness work with youth and adults . He enjoyed adventure and lived life to the fullest. He leaves to mourn family lineages, both maternally and paternally. We apologize for anyone we may have forgotten. Wake Services will be held at the home of Ramona Wesley (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 and Thursday, May 6, 2004. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley School Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery.
