Obituary of Elizabeth Rose Velux

Elizabeth Rose Velux of Calgary passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the age of 75 years. Elizabeth was born on January 2, 1929 in Maple Creek, SK. Her parents Conrad and Lotti Denis emigrated from Odessa, Russia during the 1917 revolution. They settled in the Fox Valley district in Saskatchewan. She is survived by one son Rick Velux of Banff, AB; two daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth Allan, and Debbie Velux and Mark Firlotte, all of Calgary; and four grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Sarah and Amanda. Elizabeth will also be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
