Obituary of John Joseph Schmidt

John Joseph Schmidt of Calgary passed away at the Intercare Southwood Care Centre on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the age of 97 years. John is survived by his children, George Schmidt of Westlock, AB, Donald and Janet Schmidt of Rimby, AB, Wayne Schill of Balcarres, SK, Marge and Paul Walz, and Rod Schmidt, all of Calgary; and fourteen grandchildren and their families. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Sitter of Toronto, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife Tilly Schmidt in 1979 and his daughter Audrene Shill in December 2000.
