Obituary of Kathleen Isobel Lockwood

Kathleen “Betty” I. Lockwood passed away at the Mayfair Nursing Home on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Betty will be lovingly remembered and missed by her three sons, Robert of Lac Creux, QC, Glenn of Mississauga, ON and Frank of Calgary. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Nott of Vancouver, BC; her niece Susan Fitzgerald of Strathmore, AB; nieces, Elizabeth Pabst of Edmonton, AB and Barbara McMillan of Vancouver, BC; nephew Allen Nott of Vancouver, BC; as well as her goddaughter and long-time family friend Mary-Ann Taylor of Bragg Creek, AB. Betty was predeceased by her husband Glenn in 1998. Arrangements are being made for a memorial celebration to be held in May and information will be made available at a later date. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the care staff at the Mayfair Nursing Home for their kindness and attention in her final days. Also, the care staff at the Renoir Retirement Centre deserve much credit for making her last few years so comfortable and enjoyable.
