Obituary of Cecilia Elizabeth Cox

Cecilia Elizabeth Cox, beloved wife of forty-eight years of Fred of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, April 16, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Cecilia was born on March 18, 1933 in Edmonton, AB. She was a member of the Edmonton Girls Pipe Band and C.N.R. Cecilia moved to Calgary in 1953 and worked at Royalite Oil and Woodwards. Besides her loving husband Fred, she is remembered by two daughters and a son-in-law, Heather and Wayne Bowen and Elspeth Cox, all of Calgary; two sons and daughters-in-law, Duncan and Elaine Cox of Vancouver and Colin and Bernie Cox of Airdrie; thirteen grandchildren, Nadine, Robert, Jeffery, Lindsay, Erin, Geoffrey, Meghan, Kaeli, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Gregory, Jordan, and Jasmine; two great-grandchildren, Danae and Caden; and a brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Shirley McKenzie of Calgary.
