Obituary of John Robert Marshall

John (Jack) Robert Marshall, beloved husband of Mrs. Muriel (Bunny) Marshall of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Jack was born on November 12, 1923 in Drumheller, AB and married Muriel on June 30, 1951. He worked for Calgary Transit and Fire Department for many years until retiring in 1985. An avid outdoorsman, loved to go boating, fishing and hunting big game. Jack also loved dogs as he and Bunny raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. He had a great love for his family and friends. Jack spent many of his retirement years tinkering in the garage – if it needed fixing Jack could do it! Besides his loving wife of fifty-two years, Bunny, Jack is survived by his son daughter-in-law, Roy and Judy Crabb of Vancouver, BC; as well as his three grandchildren, Marshall, Shannon and Kathleen. He is also survived by his brother Harold (Kathy) Marshall and his sisters, Elsie Jardine and Melba Crabb, all of Vancouver, BC. Jack was predeceased by his parents and his sister Edith.
