Obituary of Robert Norman Linton

It is with great sadness that we announce that Robert Linton of Calgary passed away at home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, surrounded by his loving family. Rob is survived by his loving wife and soul mate, Noreen, and his dear children, Kirk and his wife Leila, Matthew, and Patrick. Rob lived with his illness as he lived his life: with quiet dignity, a passion for living, and incredible courage and strength. Rob was a dedicated and loving husband and father who placed his love of God, and his love for his family above everything else. He was a kind, humble and genuine man who will be remembered for his many gifts and talents including a love of music and playing his guitar, an enjoyment of nature and the mountains, woodworking, photography and an unending thirst for knowledge. Besides his loving wife and children, Rob is survived by his mother, Lily Linton; his father, Robert Linton; his brothers and sisters, Brian (Sherry), Rick (Mary Jane), Dave, Cheryl (Mark Rota) and Arlene (Paul Roberge); and his aunt Anne Cameron and family. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joan (Jim Kaupp), Roger Reilander (Joyce), Theresa (Boyd Hallman), Elaine (Vic Pirie) and Margaret (Tim Joblonkay); cousin Maureen Bibby; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Rob was predeceased by his grandmother Mary Wasechko, and his parents-in-law, Norbert and Agnes Reilander.
