Obituary of Alice Kramer

Byryid Alicia (Alice) Kramer (nee Mannix), formerly of Regina and Calgary, passed away on March 21, 2004 at the age of 94 years. Her new life was celebrated on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at St. Francis Cathedral, Nassau, Bahamas with the Archbishop Lawrence Burke S. J. officiating. Born September 11, 1909 in Edmonton, AB, Alice resided in Nassau since 1965 where she was faithfully cared for by Agnes Young and Linda Tecson. Alice and her husband Bob spent many happy summer holidays in Regina, the Qu’Appelle Valley and Calgary over the years. Alice is survived by her five children, Donald (Claire) Kramer of Regina, SK, Marilyn (Henry) Acteson of Calgary, Louanne (Hugh) Delaney of Calgary, Robert (Ann) Kramer of Paradise Valley, AZ, and Jane Fraser of Edmonton, as well as twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Florence Pallesen and Luella (Don) Wilson, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-six years Robert A. Kramer in 1991; her sisters Eleanor Lynch and Margaret Walsh; her brother Fred C. Mannix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W.) on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jack Periera, Presider.
