Obituary of Malcolm Henderson

Malcolm Henderson, beloved husband of fifty years of Edna (nee Parry) of Calgary, passed away at the Sarcee Hospice on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Malcolm was born on June 12, 1932 in Montreal. In Montreal he worked for Canadair. Malcolm moved to Calgary in 1975, and worked in the construction industry until he retired. Malcolm enjoyed sporting activities both as a spectator and participant as well as working on his computer. He was a generous and giving person who was always willing to help everyone. Besides his loving wife Edna, Malcolm is also survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Glen Henderson, and Scott and Vicky Henderson all of Calgary; four grandchildren Connor, Parker, McKenna, and Tess his last born grandchild who gave Malcolm his strength for the past five weeks. He will also be missed by a sister Margaret Stanhope of San Diego, CA; two nieces Joanne and Avril and a nephew Donald. Malcolm was predeceased by his parents James and Rebecca Henderson, a sister Nan Gledhill, and brothers, James and Robert Henderson. A Celebration of Malcolm’s life will be held at his son’s residence, 93 Chapala Close S.E. (Lake Chaparral) on Sunday, April 11, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
