Obituary of Mae Erickson

Mae Erickson of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Chinook Care Centre on Sunday, March 28, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Mae was born in Alvena, SK to George and Martha Romanko. The family later moved to Peace River and homesteaded. Mae ran her own beauty salon and in her later years a real estate business. She moved to Calgary in her last seven years to be closer to her sister Alice. Mae loved her cards, shopping and eating out. Mae is lovingly remembered by her children, Sandy and Roberto and remaining siblings Peter Romanko (Yula) and Chris Fowlie, all of Alberta. Mae was predeceased by her siblings Alice Romenco, Ann Khinicki, Mathew Romanko, Marg Willis, Al Romenco and Pauline Webb. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
