Obituary of Marilyn Diana Shaw

After a two and one half year struggle with cancer, Marilyn passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at the age of 40 years. She is survived by her husband Bruce, two sons, Jayden and Brady; and her mother Vera Kroeker. She was predeceased by her father Peter in 1989. Marilyn was a very active, positive person who enjoyed life, her many friends and business associates. We will all miss her. She worked with Chevron for many years then after marriage, took up home life in raising a family. Marilyn was a devoted mother, active with the Blackfoot Hockey Association, various programs to do with their children’s education, church, and as a representative for Pampered Chef. A Celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca Street S.E.) on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Brian Derksen officiating.
