Obituary of Edwin Arthur Ellergodt

Edwin Arthur Ellergodt, beloved husband of Elva Ellergodt of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the age of 75 years. Ed was born in Macklin, SK on May 27, 1928. He attended school in Torrington, AB and in Calgary. Throughout his life he was involved in many businesses; Landman for the Oil and Gas industry, A & W Drive-Ins, and Merchandising Businesses. Ed was a devoted family man. Besides his loving wife Elva, Ed is remembered by his three daughters, Linda, Diana and Marilyn, all of Calgary; a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Dorothy of Cochrane, AB; and five grandchildren. He will also be missed by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Anne and Dennis and Joan, all of Calgary; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Blair and Reta Rogers of Ottawa; and Faye Coleman of High River. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (703 Heritage Drive S.W.) on Friday, March 26, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Peter Coutts and the Rev Marion Barclay officiating.
