Lil went to be with her Lord Jesus after passing away suddenly surrounded by all of her family at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the age of 76. Lil was a devoted and loving wife for fifty-four years to Rev. John Torley. She was born on July 6, 1927 in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Calgary in 1966 with her family.
