Obituary of Constance Elizabeth Burns

Constance (Connie) Elizabeth Burns (nee Kentel), beloved wife of Mr. Rodney Burns of Chestermere, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 19, 2004, after a long and brave battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), at the age of 56 years. Connie was born on September 13, 1947 in Langenberg, SK. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Our memories of her will carry on in our hearts forever. Connie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Rodney Burns; a daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Jim Oelke; and a son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Julie Burns, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father, three brothers, three sisters, and their families. A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev.
