Obituary of Robert William GODDARD

August 6, 1944 – Cabri, Saskatchewan August 17, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Bob, beloved husband of Marie Goddard (nee Scribner) of Calgary, AB, passed away on August 17, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Bob is survived by his daughters, Brenda Christal (Lorne), Laurie Dales (Trevor), and Bobbi Goddard (Tim Welham), as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, siblings Sharon Elliott, Brad Goddard, and Vicki Coghill (Jeff), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Loreen McLean, mother to Brenda and Laurie, and by his parents George and Mary Goddard. He is remembered fondly by all who loved him as a good-humoured man with a twinkle in his eye, and the best fish filleter this side of Aquadeo Beach. Funeral Services were held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception followed at the funeral home.
