Obituary of Wolf Ear

Heather Ann Wolf Ear of Siksika Nation passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the age of 56 years. Heather was born, raised and lived in Siksika Nation. She loved her church, culture, family, and many friends. She also enjoyed volunteering for Siksika Disabilities Services as Secretary Treasurer. Heather had many things in life that she enjoyed which included travelling, laughing, and most of all her collection of ornamental pigs. Heather was devoted to her family, caring for her nephews and nieces, and always treated everyone as though they were her own children. She is survived by her children, Deanna Wolf Ear, Kristen Harder, Jodi Heritage, Tanya Wilson-Thorne, and Bryan D. Wolf Ear; and grandchildren, Andrew and Derek Rintoul, Heather Wolf Ear, Mitchell Roy, Cheyanne and Dylan Harder, Jessica and Justin Heritage, Skyler and Jaden Thorne. Heather is also survived by a brother Leo Wolf Ear; and four sisters, Elaine Wolf Ear, Beatrice Deak, Nora Young, and Iris (Brian) Wolf Ear. Step-brothers and step-sister Hubert Red Morning, Charles (Melvina), Paulette (Ed) and Howard McMaster. She was predeceased by a son Grant Wolf Ear, her parents Harry and Theresa Louise Wolf Ear, sister Miranda Black, and brother Brian Wolf Ear and a step-sister Charlene McMaster. Wake Services will be held at the Siksika Community Centre (Siksika Nation, AB) on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at the Siksika Community Centre (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, March 15, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery.
