Obituary of Louise Stiel

Louise Martine Stiel of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2004 at the age of 62 years. Louise was born on May 3, 1941 in Bussum, Holland. She immigrated from Holland in 1953 to Calgary and attended Central Memorial High School where she was awarded a scholarship. Louise enjoyed gardening, reading, classical music, jigsaw puzzles, and traveling throughout Canada and the United States. Louise is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael of Cranbrook BC and Philip and Erin of Pemberton BC; a granddaughter, Lisa Stiel; a brother, Mat (Barb) Dewitt of Reno Nevada; two sisters-in-law, Pat Dewitt (Larry Butterhorn) and her children Mark and Brenda and Pat Stiel and her children Mark and Michelle; a brother-in-law, Jack Stiel; a cousin, Catrina (Gus) Loman of Calgary; her nieces, nephews, and family in Holland. Louise will be remembered by her friends and colleagues at Field Law. She was predeceased by her husband Berry and two brothers Gerald and Chris.
