Obituary of Iris Rodrigues

Iris Rodrigues, widow of Gordon Rodrigues of Calgary, passed away after a long illness on Monday, March 1, 2004. Born in Gyncorrwg, Wales, the eldest of twelve children, she moved to London, England where she was married in 1936. Iris lived in Ghana and Sudan with her husband before returning to England. In 1971 she immigrated, with her husband, to Canada to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She is survived by her son Gordon and his wife Marilyn; a grandson Greg and his wife Sandra Haley; a grandson Steven and his wife Annie and their children Jasper and Miranda. Iris is also survived by many other relatives and friends around the world. “Ffarwel mam” Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, March 5, 2004 at 10:00 A.M.
