Obituary of Katherine Maureen CLARK

April 30, 1945 – Edson, Alberta August 11, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Kathy Clark on Friday August 11, 2017 at the young age of 72. Kathy had an amazing talent and passion for singing and entertaining. Her voice was truly a gift from God and she used it to spread the word of Jesus to so many people. Kathy sang in many bands and spent the last half of her life speaking and singing across North America for Christian women’s clubs. Along with her husband Garney she spent 25+ years wintering in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where she put on numerous gospel concerts and variety shows at the Islander RV Park. Her most favorite thing to do was to spend precious and meaningful time with her three grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her loving husband Garney; her son, Cameron (Colina) grandson Cian; daughter Suzanne (Rod) grandson Carson and granddaughter Chelsey. She is also survived by her brother Barry along with numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy is predeceased by her parents, Rudy and Dorothy Kendall; brothers, Gary and Randy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
