Obituary of Ross Regan Radomske

On February 18, 2004, surrounded by his loving family in his home, Ross Radomske passed away peacefully. He had fought a courageous battle against cancer with great dignity. On May 23, 1968 in Kamloops, BC, Ross was born – a very special baby. He attended grade school in Kamloops, later attending the University of Victoria and graduating from the first mechanical engineering program in 1992. He was very accomplished and successful in his career. His work took him from Victoria to Vancouver, then to Calgary. His loves in life included his motorbikes, skiing, a good laugh, traveling (especially to Long Beach, BC), music, art, and above all, Helen. Ross will be always treasured and loved by his wife and soulmate, Helen (nee Brett); his mother Eveline Radomske of Kamloops, BC; sister Carol (Rob) Furlan of Clearwater, BC; parents-in-law Sheila and Peter Brett of Victoria, BC; and brother-in-law Paul (Mary) Brett of Hamilton, MT. He was predeceased by his father Roland, and grandfather Edmund Tscharke. Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. Ross’s ashes will be taken to Victoria with Helen. Celebrations of life will occur both in Victoria and Kamloops with close family and friends. Special thanks to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Scot Dowden, nurses Wendy and Carol, Barry Bultz, and the afternoon tea ladies. Thank you also to palliative nurses Paula and Karen.
