Obituary of Margaret L. Fox

Margaret Lillian Fox of Calgary passed away quietly, surrounded by her loving family, at the Foothills Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Born February 15, 1923 in Great Falls, MT, Margaret was the youngest of six children. Our dear Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma was dearly loved and she will be remembered for her kind, gentle, caring, witty, and compassionate nature. Mom/Grandma had a special way that warmed the hearts of all who knew her. The importance she placed on family and home and the qualities that made her such a remarkable person will remain as memories we will cherish forever. Mom/Grandma will be greatly missed by her beloved children, son Ron Fox (Mary Nicolson); daughters, Betty Rose (Chuck), Gwen Fox, and Kathy Shiels (Bill) all of Calgary; and son Bill Fox (Betty Lou) of Vancouver. Grandma will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren, Ryan Fox (Michelle), Michelle Fox, Ken Rose, Carolyn Rose, and Marni-Lyn Fox and her two great-grandchildren, Corbin Fox and Nicole Fox. Margaret is also survived by a brother-in-law William Fox (Nancy) of Vancouver, B.C., a sister-in-law Lily Fox of Trochu, AB and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Benjamin Fox in 1979, and her parents, William and Margaret Cameron, at the young age of five years and by her siblings Bill, Hugh, Grace, Ruth, and Andy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
