Obituary of Margot Louise Frosini

Margot Louise Frosini, beloved wife of Frank Frosini of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 13, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 42 years. Margot was born January 29, 1962 in Port Alberni, BC and moved to Calgary in 1976. She met Frank in 1980 and they were married in October 1983. Margot attended Mount Royal College and received her Secretarial Arts Diploma. She was employed with Dome Petroleum until the birth of their second child Cassandra, when she became a full-time homemaker. Margot took evening classes and achieved her Librarian Certification at S.A.I.T. She was employed with Our Lady Of The Assumption Elementary Junior High School and later transferred to St. John Brebeuf Junior High School. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with Frank, her precious children, family and special friends. During the fall and winter Margot enjoyed watching her children play hockey and ringette. In the spring and summer she enjoyed boating and relaxing at Lake Windermere. Margot also enjoyed reading, board and card games, volunteer work, traveling and socializing. Margot is known to her family and friends as a person who always brought warmth, kindness, compassion and love to us with her inviting smile and sweet, soothing voice. We are all grateful she touched and enriched our lives for she will be always remembered as a beautiful, loving and caring wife, mother and the most sincere friend you could ever have. Besides her beloved husband Frank, Margot is survived by a daughter Cassandra and son Daniel, father Bill (Linda) McLaren of Port Alberni, BC; mother Beatrice McLaren of Calgary, grandmother Hilda Werner of Creston, BC, aunt Debbie Werner of Vancouver, BC.
