Obituary of Nickolas Boresky

Nicholas Martin Boresky, of Calgary, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Nick was born January 13, 1913 in Sandstone, AB. He worked for the City of Calgary with Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 583 and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1 for over fifty years. Nick is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Barry Boresky of Calgary and Howard and Sherry Boresky of Elkford, BC; granddaughter Tracy Brenner of Calgary; two sisters, Helen Miniajlo and Carry Long, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Nick was predeceased by his wife, Florrie and a sister Florence Ireland. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, February 16, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A Celebration of Nicks’ long life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 2:30 P.M.
