Obituary of Robert Wayne Smith

Surrounded by his family, Robert (Bob) Wayne Smith of Calgary, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 9, 2004 at the age 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley; two sons Keith and Michael; a daughter-in-law Gina; and his two granddaughters, Dominique and Kennedy. Bob also leaves to mourn his brother Rick (Sharon); mother-in-law Mollie, and numerous other relatives across Canada and England. Bob was a proud member of the LdSH (RC) for twenty-three years. He was then employed by Calgary Police Services as a parking control officer until he retired. Bob was very active in the community with Glamorgan 55+ Seniors’ Group, volunteering at the Museum of the Regiments, and serving on the Vestry at St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church (1802 – 33 Avenue S.W.) on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. John Gishler officiating.
