Obituary of Brady George Ure

It is with profound sadness that the family of Brady George Ure announces the tragic passing of their beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, and dear friend on Saturday, February 7, 2004. Brady is survived by his loving mother Helen Ure; dear sister Rosalie and her husband Randy Parent and their daughters, Rachelle and Jennese; brother Mitchell Ure and his daughters Sarah and Ashley; as well numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Brady was predeceased by his older brother Randy in 1971, his father in 1983 and by his nephew Jarett in 1995. Brady was born at the Calgary General Hospital to Helen and George Ure on September 2, 1958. He attended school in Calgary, finishing at Western Canada High School, and briefly attending SAIT. Brady moved to Winnipeg where he lived, loved, laughed and worked for seventeen years. To his family’s delight he returned to live in Calgary in 1995 until the present. Brady was an enormously kind and generous man whose caring and compassion was only tempered by his spirited competitiveness. Although a man of few words, his quick wit, loyalty and devotion to family and friends was never in doubt. Truly gifted when tackling home oriented building projects and finishing work Brady leaves a legacy of his uncompromising attention to detail and impeccable workmanship. Brady was immensely loved and cherished and will be missed beyond description. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
