Obituary of Leonard Keith Larsen

Len Larsen, beloved husband of Clara Larsen of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the age of 72 years. Len was employed in the oil patch for over twenty-five years with B.A., Gulf and Chevron. In 1980 he went into full time church ministry and recently retired from Beddington Pentecostal Church where he served as minister to seniors and pastoral care. Len was born April 19, 1931 in Calgary to William and Norma Larsen, and is survived by his loving wife and best friend Clara (nee Kary); daughter and son-in-law Carla and Graham Balzun; son and daughter-in-law Darren and Lorilee Larsen; as well as his four precious grandchildren whom he adored, Christianne and Joel Balzun, Jenica and Chloe Larsen, all of Calgary, AB; a sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Ken Anderson of Kelowna, BC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Len was a loving, compassionate man who cared deeply for his family, friends and those he ministered to.
