Tom Wild

Obituary of Tom Wild

Born Antal Wild on May 29, 1935 in Kophaza, Hungary, Tom passed away quietly, with his family by his side, on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the age of 68 years. Tom was the youngest of six children and worked in the glass industry as “the best” in his trade for more than twenty years. He made many friends along the way. His passions in life were his granddaughters, hunting and playing cards. For anyone that knew him, they would say that he loved nothing more than a great home-cooked meal. Besides his devoted and loving wife Anna, Tom is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth and Susan Tischner and his sons, Bill (Shona) Tischner and Joseph (Lynn) Tischner. He was like a father to his adored granddaughters, Amy and Lisa DeVido and was just getting to know his new granddaughter Kelly Tischner. He is also survived by his three brothers, Steve, John and Paul and their families, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families as well as many other relatives and close friends throughout the world. He was predeceased by his parents, brother and sister. A Prayer Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 3:00 P.M.
