Obituary of Esther Pastor

Esther Pastor of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on a cold Saturday morning on January 31, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Although Alzheimer’s had overtaken her she knew those who loved her and she never forgot how to smile. Our mother will be deeply missed. She still lives through her sons John and Ron, and will be remembered by her large family. What a precious life she was. If only she could awaken for a brief moment, just for us to say one more time; “We love you mum.” Esther is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Ron Pastor, and John and Pat Pastor, all of Calgary; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Clayton and Dakota; two great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Albert Fredbjornson. Esther was predeceased by her mother Anna Friesen and a daughter Bonny-Jane Laviolette. A Memorial Service will be held at Haysboro Hall (9110 Fairmount Drive S.E.) on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. To forward expressions of sympathy go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
